The deadline is rapidly approaching for the Gettysburg Ghost Hunting Trip, which is taking place on Friday, July 25, 2008.  The deadline to sign up for this trip is June 10^th, and we plan to open this up to the public after that date.  So if any fellow Miata club members are interested in going on this trip please get your reservations in to Sherri at:

Please be advised that the bus is scheduled to depart from the Quality Inn at the Arlington Road exit off I-77 in Akron at 7:00 AM on Friday morning, July 25th and return Sunday evening, July 27th. 

The fee for the Gettysburg Ghost Tour are as follows:

Single - 1 person, 1 bed, 1 bus seat - $320.00
Double - 2 to a room, 2 bus seats _ $435.00
Triple - 3 people to a room w/2beds, 3 bus seats -
$565.00
Quad - 4 people to a room w/2 beds, 4 bus seats -
$645.00

For Civil War Hobbyists and Ghost Hunters

The Gettysburg trip is scheduled for July 25, 26 and 27 and we are taking reservations. There have been several people who have signed up for the trip so far.
The trip will include: A round trip coach bus seat, two nights at America’s Best Inn Gettysburg, two buffet dinners per person, complimentary breakfasts per person at the hotel, one private group ghost walk with Ghosts of Gettysburg Tour Company (rated #1 ghost tour in US), a walking tour of the National Cemetery and the site of the Gettysburg Address, a local psychic will join us at dinner followed by a ghost-hunt on the battlefield at sundown. There will also be a tour of the battlefield during the day and a ghost-hunt at night with Sherri (she provides the equipment), and a visit to the new Gettysburg Visitors Center, a two-hour bus tour of the battlefield with an Official Park Services Tour Guide, and other events as time permits.

The price includes all taxes and gratuities. Meals included are two buffet dinners per person and hotel continental breakfast. Sherri will be setting up a website so we can pay with a credit card or she can accept checks or money orders. The hotel requires pa ment from Sherri 30 days in advance, so reservations must be made and payment must be received by Sherri 45 days prior to the July 25 departure date.

Cars will be left at the nearby Home Depot. The bus co. has an agreement with Home Depot and uses this parking lot quite a few times a month.

 
After the June 10 deadline date, the tour will be open to the public and the seats are quickly taken, so for those of you who are interested, please be sure to make your reservations before June 10.
