2006 Planning Meeting

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at this coming years events, which brings us to our Planning Meeting. If we're going to have events, we need to do a bit of planning at the Planning Meeting. The Executive Committee members are to be there by 1 pm for our strategy meeting and everyone else by 2 p.m. for the general discussion and scheduling of events for the 2007 calendar. Everyone who is interested in leading a trip, tour, performance event, dinner or any other Miata Club function should be there so that we can arrange our dates on the calendar and be sure that everyone's dates coordinate. Bring your plans, pencil and calendar and let's schedule a full season of fun things to do with our great little cars. We're having the meeting in Medina County at the Granger Lake Condos’ Party Center , 200 Granger Road, (the Neusser's condo clubhouse) again this year, snacks, soft drinks and coffee will be provided. Directions can be found below.

If you’ll be traveling south on I-71 from the western Cleveland area, you need to exit at Rt. 18/Medina Rd. (which is Exit 218), and turn left at the light (which puts you onto Rt. 18, headed east). Follow Rt. 18/Medina Rd. to Medina Line Rd. (about 6-ish miles), turn left at the traffic light that’s in the middle of a small hill, and follow Medina Line north for just over a mile. Granger Rd. will intersect at that point. Turn left onto Granger Rd. , go ¼ mile, and the first road to the left will be 200 Granger Rd. Turn left here, follow the road as it curves left, and the Party Room will be on your right. Slightly farther on, at the bottom of a very small hill, will be the parking lot on your right. Additional parking is permitted along the right side of the road beyond the parking lot, and in front of the condo office on the left side of the road.

If you are traveling south on I-77 from the northern regions, use Exit 137B (Rt. 18 West/Medina). At the end of the exit ramp is a traffic light. Turn right ( Crystal Lake Rd. ), go to the stop sign, turn left onto Granger Rd. , and at the next stop sign is Medina Line Rd. Cross Medina Line, continue on about ¼ mile, and look for 200 Granger Rd. (the first road on the left). Turn left here, follow the road as it curves left, and the Party Room will be on your right. Slightly farther on, at the bottom of a very small hill, will be the parking lot on your right. Additional parking is permitted along the right side of the road beyond the parking lot, and in front of the condo office on the left side of the road. NOTE: before you cross Medina Line Rd. the house numbers will be in the thousands. They start over again west of Medina Line Rd.

From points south, and are traveling north on I-71, use Exit 218 east, and follow the above directions for I-71 travelers.

From points south, and are using I-77N, use Exit 137B and follow the I-77 directions above.
